In my October Glossybox* I got sample of the Rimmel BB cream in the shade light (a little too light for my skin).
The product claims to:
Minimise appearance of pores
Control shine all day
Smooth and soothe skin.
After recently trying the product I have to say I was quite surprised.
I used my fingers to apply it and was slightly suspicious at the fact it didn’t look odd on my slightly darker skin tone. The application was smooth and had a matte finish, which it claims to to.
It gave me an almost ‘youthful’ finish and made my skin look clear.
I left it on all day with out any other products and it stayed on and did indeed make my skin feel smooth(mind you, I was sat on the sofa all day).
But on my second time applying this product I set the cream with the Rimmel stay matte powder and did the rest of my face before I left for my day at university.
Now half way through my hectic schedule I noticed the product had completely vanished on some areas of my face. I was rather annoyed and so I re-applied the product to keep me going to the rest of the day.
It ticked two of the claims and even that only if I stood still in cool dry place.
This product also comes in only two shades; Light and Medium, which is a little frustrating for darker skin people. I gave this product a fair go and I personally will not be purchasing this product.
However this product is perfect for you if:
-You are white
-Can control the weather
-Have dry skin.
I will give it a rating of 2/5.
What are you’re thought on this product?
